About us

ESCC is a distance learning company selling courses in 8 countries in Middle and Eastern Europe and China.
The company started in 1990 in Poland after the fall of the Berlin wall with the English for beginners course. Quickly after this we introduced more language courses followed by a diversity of other courses.
Shortly after the Polish success, ESCC rolled out its business in Hungary, Romania, China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The ESCC study method is based on a long-standing experience combined with the latest insights from educational psychology. Course development procedures are derived from an established body of knowledge within ESCC, which guarantees constant quality.

Students receive lesson packages by mail which contain books, audio tapes, homework assignments and additional learning materials.
Learning materials have been designed according to a specific didactical method which gives students rapid results and keeps them motivated. A large network of specialist teachers takes care of homework correction and student support.

ESCC thinks local and acts global. Part of the success of ESCC is obtained by working with local staff. This means that ESCC is able to adapt its services to country-specific needs and demands.

Local demands are met in close co-operation with experts from the world-wide ESCC network. In total ESCC employs about 400 people world-wide. In addition to this staff, ESCC also co-operates with dozens of teachers who work on a freelance basis to support students and correct homework assignments.
